The jellyfish can be made in many different yarns and there are endless possibilities to play with textures, colours and the amount of lightning through the yarn. Here are four different examples of yarn types:
1: 2 strands of Bella by Permin and 1 strand of Salsa by Lammy. 100 grams of each.
2: 1 strand of Bella by Permin. 50 grams. and 1 strand of Creative bubble by Rico. 100 grams.
3: 1 strand of Wool mohair by Lana Gatto and 1 strand of Creative Bubble by Rico. 100 grams of each.
4: 1 strand of Wool Mohair by Lana Gatto and 1 strand of Salsa by Lammy. 100 grams of each.
Light dome insert, for LARGE jellyfish
Small LED light chain for 2 AA batteries.
Approx. 1 m cotton thread.
Potentially some thread for mounting.
The Lightning Jellyfish is worked bottom up in a dome. Afterwards the bottom is assembled with a cotton strand.
At last, the tentacles are mounted, and the jellyfish is hung up in a transparent wire.
